If you plan to raise money in support of Orphan Life Foundation, we want to make sure you do so in a legal and secure way. Please read the following rules before you begin:

Orphan Life Foundation’s charity number is 81-4314076. Please display this number on any fundraising material you use and hand out to participants and the general audience.

Any fundraising material you may use MUST NOT suggest that you represent Orphan Life Foundation. It should CLEARLY STATE that you are only organizing a fundraiser in support of Orphan Life Foundation.

We advise you not to collect money in a public place or by going door-to-door. If you do choose to do so, you’ll need a personal license from your local authority (you should find details regarding this on your local authority’s website).

If children under the age of 16 are involved in the fundraising event in any capacity, please make sure they have permission from their parents/guardian and are properly supervised by a responsible adult during the entire course of the event. Children should be discouraged from approaching strangers regarding fundraising.

If you are planning to have any type of lottery (such as a raffle or sweepstake) section in the fundraiser, please approach us before doing so as there are strict rules about what you can and cannot do.

If you do something that threatens or damages the name or reputation of Orphan Life Foundation, we reserve the right to ask you to stop fundraising immediately.

Please encourage eligible donors/sponsors to make aid declarations before donating money. This will enable us to recover the tax applicable to their donations.

We would like to receive photographs of your fundraising efforts. If you wish to share these with us, please email them toinfo@orphanlifefoundation.org. We will use them to promote our work.
